Day one God Created Light. (Day and Night)
day two: Heaven and Earth
Day Three: Contenents and Oceans, Plants
Day Four: Sun and Moon and Stars
Day Five: Birds & Fish
Day Six: Animals and People
I believe that each day was about 24 Hours. Some folks think each day could be thousands of years or longer. But that doesn't make sense. How could you have plants for thousands of years with no Sun ? That makes as much sense as some apes evolving into people and other apes remaining as apes.

Very true. That's a point I hadn't considered. But also God anticipated that there would be those who tried to say that a day was not a day. That's why the Bible says after each day...
"And there was evening, and there was morning—the x day".
