Her friendships run too deep to be wide.

Yet they are best friends with each other.
She only has a few friends but she knows all about them and they know all about her. She crys when they part and hugs when they get together again. She calls them regularly and they call her. She makes things for them and recieves gifts from them.
He knows a lot of people but he barely knows them. Keeps their names on a list and has to check it to say hello to them. but they smile at each other and pretend to know each other well. But when they part there is no sorrow. They don't try to stay in touch. They never write or call and never give each other gifts. Just for a few moments they were friendly to each other and brightened each other's days. And they they went thier separate ways. Now these two who have very different ways for making friends are attracted to each other and each would do anything for the other. Because he does have one friendship that runs deep. He only has the one best friend and it is her.
