Need to fire half the workers

We've retained HappySacks inc to inform the workers of their layoffs. HappySacks will make the transition to the government dole almost enjoyable. We are paying the workers a months pay for every year they worked for the company and giving them training and assistance for to help them find a new job. With the current job market we expect many to take advantage of 99 months of unemployment the government offers. I'd hoped to wait until after the November elections to see if there is any hope for a turn around of the economy but alas the poles are indicating the change in the house and senate will not be enough to make the desired difference we need in the direction our poor country is heading.
