Change is inevitable eh ?

I know I'm not really Walter Mitty. I just play him on the internet.
Now someone is playing me. They are pretending to be me on the internet.
I got an unusual phone call this morning that told me to log on to one of my accounts to find out what the phone call was about. I did and found out my account is frozen due to suspicious activity. I had about a half dozen withdrawals from my account this morning. Ouch. now the money is gone until they solve the case. They asked the person whose account it was transferred to for an explaination. I suspect they won't get one and my funds will be restored. In the meantime I'm a little concerned about my other accounts becuase I don't know how they got my password and perhaps there are links between my various accounts. So just in case my other accounts are being comprimised I now need to change all my passwords. and oh by the way, I have over 50 accounts and passwords for different things at home and at work. What a great inconvienience it is to live in a world with people we can't trust.

I'm so sorry. What a pain. I've had people try to steal my identity but caught it before it became a big problem.

Just remember, this is temporary. A short journey. For all of eternity we will live only with trustworthy people.

So far so good. I've been going into various accounts and changing my password and thus far nobody has beaten me to it. I've got about $300,000 that is now frozen though and I can't get to it until they resolve the issue. Should be about 2 weeks. But Hey I wasn't going to do anything with that money for the next 2 weeks anyway. If I decide on the spur of the moment to buy something that expensive I'll just get the money out of another account or out of my sock drawer where I have a few million hidden.

We had a bank card number used to buy a bunch of stuff over the web one time. It was a pain but the bank wasted no time in helping us get it straightened out. Good luck and I hope ya don't loose too many of your millions!!! Gee if I'd a known ya had all that, I'd of sent ya my Christmas list!!!! I didn't know government undercover guys got paid so well. Hummm. Do you have friends in foreign places? I guess you'll fit right in with the new administration!!!
