The heat pump broke on 2 of my houses in the same week. One in South Carolina and the other in North Carolina. Last year the Heat pumps broke down in 2 of my North Carolina houses. and the year before that the heat pump broke down in one of my Texas houses. All these breakdowns cost me over $7000 in repairs and replacements over the past 2 years.
Good thing I am very cool.
